Byron Bay tours and attractions

Byron Bay has plenty of attractions on offer.  Take the walking trail out to the lighthouse and lookout, the most easterly point in Australia.  Relax while the kids build sandcastles on the gorgeous Wategos Beach.  It is a surf beach though, so keep an eye on the littlies.  Pack a picnic and take a scenic drive through the Byron Bay hinterland. Take a day trip to Minyon Falls rockpool or tackle some mountain bike touring.  Or perhaps canoeing, horseriding or quad biking are more your thing.  A stack of sea based activites are on offer with fishing, kitesurfing and surfing just to name a few.  Visit the colourful Byron Market or just stroll through the array of cafes, galleries and colourful shops of Byron.

Byron market is held at the Butler Street reserve on the first Sunday of the month.  Kids young and old will love the markets performance space, where you may be entertained by fire-eaters, acrobats, jugglers, dancers, contortionists, stilt walkers, escape artists or musicians. Stall holders sell everything from fruit to fantasy.  This is a not to be missed Byron attraction.
