Adelaide Hills Parks and Playgrounds

Belair National Park - A favourite amoungst locals, SA's oldest National Park.  A great spot for the day, with 54 tennis courts you're sure to get a hit.  Wildflowers, native animals and walking trails make this place fun for all ages. There are ovals for ball games, and horse riding trails nearby.  Open daily from 8am, cost is $6.50 per vehicle.  Phone 08 82785477

Morialta Conservation Park - bushwalking along defined walkways, ranging from easy to steep.  A child carrier (see product review section) would come in handy here.  Lookouts and waterfalls are stunning. May not suit some younger children.  Phone for more info 08 83360901.

Mount Lofty Gardens - Great spot for a picnic, views over Adealide and the Piccadilly Valley.  Plenty of room to stretch the legs or relax by the lake.  08 83708370
