Eumundi Market - a great day out for the family, there are over 500 stalls stocking quality handmade goods. There is plenty of fresh food, buskers, bands and rides for the kids. If you are visiting in summer my tip would be to get in early before it gets to hot for the kids. If you have a backpack for your toddlers bring it as with up to 10,000 people per week visiting these famous markets it can be very difficult with a pram or stroller.
Eumundi strawberries - Kids love to pick strawberries and they are welcome to here. Open every day during picking season (around spring). You pay approx $8 per kg but they are fresh and delicious and the kids will have a great time. They are located on the southern entrance to Eumundi off the Bruce Highway. |
