Fiji is made up of a group of over 300 tranquil islands. Of these, only a 100 or so are inhabited by humans with the rest left as nature reserves. Almost 80 percent of the population live on the two major islands in the group, which are known as Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Fiji's cooler months are between May and September with temperatures ranging between 25-26 degrees celcius.
