THE NATIONAL PUBLIC TOILET MAP |
|
The National Public Toilet Map (the Map) shows the location of more than 14,000 public and private toilet facilities across Australia. A very useful resource on your next family holiday or day out. You won't have to search for a public dunny when you are next travelling with kids.
Details of toilet facilities can also be found along major travel routes and for shorter journeys as well. Useful information is provided about each toilet, such as location, opening hours, availability of baby change rooms, family toilets, accessibility for people with disabilities and the details of other nearby toilets.
The development of the Map and the Web site is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Health and Ageing as part of the National Continence Management Strategy.
You can plan a route from nearly any starting point to any destination in Australia. The system will identify the quickest route (by road or on foot) and create a list of nearby toilets. To access their trip planner or more information log onto www.toiletmap.gov.au
