It IS possible to have absolute luxury, fine dining, candlelit dinners every night when holidaying with kids. I always thought you had to give up (even if only something very minor) but Jean-Michel Cousteau, Fiji is all of this and a whole lot more! Clients I’ve sent there always come back raving about the resort, but seeing, doing, experiencing the tropical treat that is Jean Michel Cousteau, Fiji delivers quality timeout for mums and dads and high energy kids club delights single-handedly. Jean-Michel Cousteau, Fiji is a 5 star resort located in Savsavu, an hours flight (on a small plane) from Nadi. Built on a former coconut plantation, the resort ticks all the boxes: eco-friendly, child-friendly, parent-friendly. In fact, my only disappointment was that we could only change our flights to extend our stay one (rather than two) extra nights, it was that good! |

Should I take my kids to Las Vegas is a common question we hear, well my answer is a definite yes! We just returned from a family holiday to America and Vegas was one of my favourite destinations. There is something for everyone in larger than life Las Vegas. There are plenty of family shows, activities, sights to see and as a bonus many are free or cheap. The whole strip is just amazing with its themed hotels and bright lights, plus the Grand Canyon an easy day trip away... a must do destination in America. |

I recently returned from Fiji and can only say good things about it - the Fijians are the master race when it comes to hospitality, warmth and relaxation. There are so many fantastic kid friendly places and one that really stood out from the rest for me is Castaway Island. |

We arrived into Phnom Penh airport early in the morning and were welcomed by bright sunshine and a line of smiling tuk tuk drivers. I was pleased to see the tuk tuk's here are much larger than elsewhere in Asia and fit the 4 of us and our luggage. We advise the driver of our accommodation and off we go ducking and weaving through the bustling streets of the city. |

We decided to teach the kids to ski and what better place than in the middle of the North Island New Zealand on the very impressive Mount Ruapehu, a live volcano that's high enough and (generally) inactive enough to receive a fair dusting of snow each winter, the mountain is the centrepiece of the Ruapehu National Park. |

We head to Chongqinq by bus to join our Yangtze River Cruise. They seemed to be on some kind of world record attempt to cram the most amount of people and bags onto one bus. I was given the seat behind the driver and he seemed to spit out the window every couple of seconds. I began to wonder just how much spit one's body can produce?? |
